Château
"Toutvent", the family home of Président François Mitterrand is within a stone's throw of Château Le Mas de Montet. He loved this region and in later years he gravitated to it, to restore a sense of peace and tranquility. He frequently stayed at the Château, appreciating its calm to contemplate affairs of state, conduct private meetings with his ministers and walk his Labradors in the Grande Allée.

During a three year renovation programme, the Château has been brought up-to-date to exacting standards, including modern bathrooms. Stylish interior design draws together a unique collection of furniture and objets d'art, ensuring that each room has its own individual character. All the curtains and bed-hangings have been hand-made using fabrics from houses such as Osborne & Little, Zoffany, Titley & Marr and Sanderson.

More than a traditional hotel-restaurant, our focus is on providing a unique experience to all of our guests. The atmosphere is very much that of a country house, with good unpretentious service.
