Dining

Refreshments are, of course, available throughout the day, with the elegant Dining Room offering a relaxed and informal atmosphere for dinner. Co-proprietor and Executive Chef Richard Stimson is the first non-French chef to be elected to the prestigious "Toques du périgord" association of the best chefs in the region.

Dinner

In addition to dining à la carte, the four course "Menu du Château" is served every evening throughout the year, including Sunday and Monday. This is often supplemented by additional dishes of the day. Our speciality is traditional French cooking with the occasional influence from the rest of the world, using excellent fresh ingredients. We pride ourselves on the broad selection of contrasting cheeses on our cheeseboard.

Do let us know if you are vegetarian or have any special dietary requirements - we're happy to prepare appropriate dishes.

In the height of summer dinner is often served outside on the terrace.

Breakfast

Traditional French breakfast is complemented with a choice of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cheese and meat.

Lunch

The restaurant is open for lunch to groups by prior reservation.

An informal lunch of sandwiches and salads is available to hotel residents all year round.

You are likely to want to try one or two local restaurants during your stay with us – we are happy to suggest our favourites and to make reservations for you.  Since most restaurants in France are closed on Sunday and Monday evenings, you can always take dinner at the Château.
